The new October 2009 issue of the iconic Interview magazine celebrates their 40th anniversary with Craig McDean helming the photography of the cover shoot featuring Kristen Stewart.
This is one of the best Kat Moss photo shoots I have seen (and she's been photographed thousands of times). Here, she is captured by Hedi Slimane in London, back in 2007.
Wow... These images by the great French photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino are just brilliant. And you know, being from the Middle East and having visited some Arab Gulf countries, I have seen this in action: women covered in black from head to toe, yet they are sporting the hippest, most expensive shoes, bags and mobile phones.
I am totally digging this sinister photo shoot by the brilliant Bruno Dayan. Starting with domestic abuse, things take a very sinister turn as the woman turns the tables and executes her revenge. The lighting of the shoot is superb. Two thumbs up from me.
Austrian photographer Bela Borsodiis famous for his unusual style in capturing still life objects. Shoes, bags, and accessories take on a new life under his art direction. Check out this editorial 'Role Play' from a recent 2009 issue of Russian magazine, Tatler, for example. Rather than use naked models wearing the accessories as we often see, he's got something more creative going on with hidden models.
Photographer Tom Munro ditches his usually vibrant colors and goes for a rather washed out color palate in the editorial 'A Singular Style' in the June 2009 issue of Vogue Italia. The vacant and deserted locations and model Sessilee Lopez with her platinum blonde wig all add up to a hanutingly beautiful editorial.
For its new issue #2 2009, Tush magazine diggs into the archive of the genius Thierry Mugler for this editorial 'Maintenant, Encore.' The outfits are crazy cool and are worn by model Iris Strubegger with photography by Markus Pritzi, styling by Ingo Nahrwold, and realization by Karim Amerchih.
